TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

Marie firmly believe in the power of movement and exercise as a way to assist the body in its natural healing process.  She considers physical therapy treatment to be a collaboration between herself and the person wishing to rehabilitate his or her injury.  To that end, she strives for good communication and work towards integrating exercise and movement into each person’s lifestyle in a way that works for them.  She is also an experienced yoga instructor and finds that integrating the basic yoga concepts of awareness, alignment, and breath can assist powerfully in any treatment regimen.

BIOGRAPHY

Marie is licensed as a physical therapist in the state of Oregon with a focus on the conservative management of pelvic floor dysfunction and manual therapy treatment of orthopedic dysfunction.  In her free time, you will find her practicing yoga, hiking, biking, and gardening.
