BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Janssen is a family medicine physician with clinical interests in the full spectrum of obstetrics, including women and children’s health care. She enjoys treating the whole person in the context of their community.

Her time serving with her family at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia as an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine from 2015 to 2019 helped her to understand the challenges and complexities of training family medicine physicians in resource limited settings.  Prior to that experience, she learned the importance of broad-based skills while serving in rural Oregon for 10 years.

When she is not working she enjoys international travel, hiking, camping, reading, knitting and baking.
