The Tuality library branch of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) is closing mid-August 2019. While the physical library is closing, you still can access the many online resources at WCCLS with your library card.
We realize you may have questions about the closure. Here a few answers that may help.
When is the last day I need to return materials?
All library materials must be returned by August 12.
My registered branch is Tuality. How can I get it changed to a new one?
Tuality’s librarian will work with you to switch to a different library branch. On August 9, your registered branch will change automatically to another member library (details still in progress).
What will happen to Tuality material checkouts and holds?
On July 22 the following will happen:
- All THC items are set to 0 renewals.
- All THC items will have a due date of August 12.
- THC items are changed to “unavailable” status.
- THC items will no longer fill holds.
- THC items are suppressed from online catalogs.
What will happen to the Tuality collection?
We are finding new homes for the library collection at high schools, health departments, community members, libraries that curate historical materials and nonprofits.
What will happen with Tuality interlibrary loans?
Tuality items will no longer be loaned to institutions outside of WCCLS.
If Tuality patrons return borrowed ILLs to another WCCLS member library after THC’s closure, please forward them to Cassie Franks at WCCLS External Loans for return processing.
