FOREST GROVE, Oregon — OHSU Tuality Healthcare and the Maple Street Clinic have agreed that the clinic, located at 1825 Maple Street, will join OHSU Tuality Healthcare effective February 18, 2019. The Maple Street Clinic strengthens OHSU Tuality Healthcare’s 36-year partnership with the Forest Grove community.

“As Forest Grove continues to grow, OHSU Tuality Healthcare will be there to ensure current and new community members have the right care in the heart of Forest Grove,” said Lori James-Nielsen, President OHSU Tuality Healthcare. “This expansion allows us to provide Primary Care, Urgent Care and Lab Services all in one convenient location.”

Patients treated at the Maple Street Clinic will ultimately be connected to an OHSU-based electronic health record, enabling seamless sharing of information between clinicians, labs and OHSU health system clinics and hospitals.

“I am looking forward to continuing my 25 years of service to patients in Forest Grove and the surrounding communities. This transition will provide additional resources and enhancements to meet the growing needs of these communities in the years to come,” said Roger Reynolds, D.O., a longtime physician at Maple Street Clinic.

Reynolds, Douglas Holmes, D.O., Joy Gephart, PA-C, and Melissa Walsh, PA-C, have dedicated their careers to serving the Forest Grove community through the Maple Street Clinic. After 40 years of service to the Forest Grove area, Holmes will begin his transition into retirement, with plans to work part time starting in April 2019.

“I am excited about the affiliation with OHSU Tuality Healthcare and the growth in medical services in Forest Grove,” said Holmes. “After practicing for so many years at Maple Street Clinic and realizing the long legacy of care to our community that has grown from Drs. Wood, Jackson and Theringer, I look forward to the continuation of care and the advances that OHSU Tuality Healthcare will bring to the clinic.”

Gephart and Walsh say they are excited to expand on their combined 15 years of patient care in this area and will continue to provide the quality of service and individualized care their patients have come to expect.

Dr. Manuel Karlin, and David Senft, PA, will be joining the team as of February 18. Dr. Katrina McPherson is also joining the clinic as Forest Grove’s only practicing Pediatrician.  They are excited to be serving the Forest Grove community and look forward to building long lasting relationships with their patients. OHSU Tuality Healthcare will be bringing on additional clinicians to the clinic, and anticipates announcing new hires in the near future. The health system will continue to explore opportunities and priorities for investment, in collaboration with other stakeholders in the Forest Grove’s Healthcare District.
