Welcome to the Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center. We’re proud to bring our patients and our community access to state-of-the-art cancer treatment that’s close to home and delivered by a team that understands the unique needs of cancer patients. We round out the surgery and chemotherapy treatment services available at Tuality Healthcare, and augment cancer screenings and diagnostic services for patients in western Washington County.
What We Do
We bring patients the best of both worlds. Tuality Healthcare’s partnership with OHSU Knight Cancer Institute allows us to provide a wealth of clinical cancer expertise to the area. Patients and their physicians benefit from on-site access to OHSU’s faculty, cancer specialists, research and clinical trials while still being supported by Tuality Healthcare’s full resources and staff.
We work in a leading-edge facility for life-saving care. The Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center features physician offices and a full staff of physician specialists in radiation oncology, medical physicists, radiation therapists, nursing and support staff and other oncology-related professionals.
The center also features state-of-the-art procedures and treatments, including:
- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- High-Dose Rate Brachytherapy (HDR)
- Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT)
- External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT)
How We’re Different
The Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center offers patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer a new alternative that could significantly improve their quality of life and even provide a chance of a cure. Bladder preservation is a clinically acceptable alternative to cystectomy, helping patients preserve bladder function and maximizing their quality of life. Read more about bladder preservation. »
TTFields Therapy for Glioblastoma
Adult patients newly diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM) can receive Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy at Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center, the first cancer center in Oregon to offer this innovative treatment. TTFields therapy is non-invasive and is just as effective as chemotherapy, but much less toxic to patients. Read more about TTFields therapy. »
Proton Therapy Consultation
Proton therapy targets tumors with a greater precision, sparing nearby healthy tissues and minimizing side effects. Proton therapy is not available in the state of Oregon, but patients considering it as an option can save time and money consulting with Dr. Timur Mitin at Tuality/OHSU Cancer Center. His training and vast experience makes his an ideal opinion to have before deciding whether or not this therapy is right for you. Read more about proton therapy consultations. »
