Tuality Healthcare appoints Joe Hardman, M.D., as Chief Medical Officer

Tuality Healthcare, an OHSU partner, announces that Joe Hardman, M.D. has been appointed as Chief Medical Officer.  Dr. Hardman has been serving as interim Chief Medical Officer since February 2017, and accepted the position permanently last week.

“Since Dr. Hardman’s arrival, I have continually received praise regarding his interface with our providers and leadership.  I have continued to receive requests to appoint him as the permanent Chief Medical Officer,” said Manny Berman, president and CEO of Tuality Healthcare.  “I am pleased to announce I have offered the position permanently to Dr. Hardman and he has very graciously accepted.” 

Dr. Hardman received his B.S. degree in physiological science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997 and his M.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego in 2003.  He is a general internist who has been practicing at OHSU for nearly 10 years, and his primary clinical focus is outpatient primary care internal medicine.  He has also worked on the inpatient teaching service at OHSU.  Dr. Hardman lives in Portland with his wife and two children.
