Center for Geriatric Psychiatry

This established acute psychiatric facility serves patients age 60 and older, in the greater Oregon area. The program provides comprehensive inpatient mental health treatment in a positive and supportive environment to assist patients in achieving their optimal level of functioning. Tuality Center for Geriatric Psychiatry has provided this level of expertise for 17 years and is the provider of choice in Oregon.

Referrals to Tuality Center for Geriatric Psychiatry are available via phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Admissions are accepted 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Following the screening, a determination is made by the attending psychiatrist as to whether the prospective patient meets the level of acuity for the inpatient program.

Those patients who do not to require admission may be referred to Tuality Center for Geriatric Psychiatry Outpatient program or other community resources for appropriate treatment.

Clinical inpatient treatments include psychiatric assessment, physical and cognitive evaluations, psychosocial assessments, therapeutic groups and individualized treatment planning. The program promotes wellness and assists both the patient and caregiver with skills and tools helpful in achieving an optimum level of functioning as well as emotional stability.
