Quality of Care

Quality is one of the core values of Tuality Healthcare. It is also at the top of the list of our organizational goals.  We believe that quality means meeting our customers’ needs every time.  Above all, we value the quality of patient care and the continued satisfaction of each patient.

Tuality maintains an ongoing, strong commitment to Quality Improvement in patient care and other areas of operation.  We are accredited by The Joint Commission, and we meet all federal quality regulations including those of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

We also participate in national and state Quality Improvement initiatives that help ensure positive patient outcomes.  These include programs of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, the American College of Cardiology, “Get with the Guidelines” (stroke care) and the National Healthcare Safety Network, among others.

Tuality is a leader among area hospitals in the use of an electronic medical records system.  This enhances convenience for patients and improves both the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care and safety.
