New Parent’s Monday Support Group
Date: Every Monday. No meeting May 28 due to the Memorial Day holiday.Start Time: 11:30 a.m.
Duration: A 90-minute session
Location: Tuality Health Education Center, 334 SE 8th Ave., Hillsboro
Cost: Free. No registration required.
Funded by charitable contributions to the Tuality Healthcare Foundation.
New moms and dads are invited to join other parents and babies 0 to 9 months of age to share the joys and frustrations of parenthood. Facilitated discussion topics include: normal newborn development, signs and symptoms of illness, sleep and eating behaviors, and changes in the parents’ relationship. Expectant parents are also encouraged to drop in to get a glimpse of life with baby.
