Gerald H. Ewing, a longtime editor at The Oregonian newspaper in Portland, has been named Director of Corporate Communications at Tuality Healthcare, western Washington County’s leading health care provider. With 25 years experience in journalism and communications, Ewing’s new role will be to promote and enhance awareness of Tuality Healthcare and its mission in the community.

A University of Kansas graduate with a degree in journalism, Ewing moved west to begin a lengthy, award-winning career at Northwest newspapers, including The Oregonian. His tenure at the Portland daily featured editing positions in Sports, Northwest Outdoors, City Desk, and Suburban. In 2010, Ewing completed a Business and Leadership degree from Marylhurst University. In his free time, he enjoys whitewater rafting and is also an avid motorcycle rider.
