Rheumatology Specialist Joins Tuality Healthcare Medical Staff

Tuality Healthcare is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Tindall, M.D., to the medical staff. Dr. Tindall is a board-certified rheumatology and immunology specialist who practices at Orenco Station Medical Group in Hillsboro. She is available for appointments by calling 503-597-3130.

Dr. Tindall received her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, where she also completed her internship in internal medicine. She went on to serve her internal medicine residency at Providence Portland Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in allergy, immunology and rheumatology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

She most recently worked as a clinical professor of medicine at the OHSU Division of Arthritis and Rheumatic Diseases. Additionally, for nearly 25 years, she was the director of rheumatology and clinical research at Portland Medical Associates.

She also has been a medical staff member at a number of Portland-area hospitals, including Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.

Dr. Tindall has held numerous leadership positions with the American College of Rheumatology, culminating with a term as the organization’s national president in 2004 and 2005.

She was a board director for the Oregon Rheumatology Alliance and the Arthritis Foundation, Oregon Chapter, and served on the Oregon Medicare Advisory Committee and the Medical Advisory Board of the Lupus Foundation of America, Pacific Northwest Chapter.

A recipient of numerous honors during her career, Dr. Tindall received the American College of Rheumatology Paulding Phelps Award in 1992, and was listed for 13 years in “Best Doctors in America,” an annual independent survey of peer physicians.

When away from her practice, Dr. Tindall enjoys digital photography, cross-country skiing and fishing with her husband, Dr. Charles Colip. Her two children attend Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia.
