Tuality Healthcare invites all interested first and third year (freshman and junior) high school sports athletes to take part in Tuality Sports Medicine Physical Nights on Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Thursday, Aug. 18. These physicals are available to students at Hillsboro, Liberty, Century, Glencoe and Forest Grove high schools.
An up-to-date sports physical is required by the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA.) The physical exams will be held Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Thursday, Aug. 18 at Liberty High School. The exams will start at 6 p.m. Each school will have a designated time. Here is the schedule: Forest Grove, 6 p.m.; Glencoe and Hilhi, 6:30 p.m., Century, 7 p.m., Liberty, 7:30 p.m. The schedule will repeat on Thursday night.
A dozen volunteer doctors will conduct the physicals. Tuality’s sports medicine staff and other volunteers will be on hand to assist. Prospective athletes need to be bring $20 in cash (proceeds go to each school’s sports medicine program), and OSAA paperwork signed by a parent. The paperwork is available online at osaa.org, or from your high school athletic office. Athletes should wear shorts and a T-shirt and parents are welcome.
