Dr. Peter Hahn, director of critical care and sleep medicine at Tuality Healthcare, will be the featured speaker at the Forest Grove Chamber of Commerce’s “lunch on the lawn” event on Monday, Aug. 15 at Pacific University in Forest Grove. The annual August lunch meeting is co-sponsored by Tuality Healthcare and Pacific University.
Dr. Hahn is in charge of the Sleep Laboratory at Tuality Forest Grove Hospital. He will discuss the lab and the work it does to help diagnose and treat a host of conditions like obstructive sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder, chronic fatigue/sleepiness, chronic insomnia and heavy snoring. Dr. Hahn also manages a pulmonary specialty outpatient practice in Hillsboro that helps treat chronic conditions like COPD. In both areas, Dr. Hahn hopes diagnosis and treatment will improve the patient’s quality of life.
Dr. Hahn joined Tuality Healthcare in 2010. Prior to that, he was a consultant at the acclaimed Mayo Clinic in the areas of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University and served his internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He is married, has two children, and is an avid soccer and tennis player.
