One of the Portland area’s leading providers of Occupational Medicine has opened a JobCare clinic in the Tuality HealthPlace building at 1200 NE 48th Ave. in Hillsboro.
Adventist Health, which operates Occupational Medicine clinics in Portland and Vancouver, has leased clinic space from Tuality Healthcare. Adventist Health has refurbished the facility with the latest equipment to treat job-related injuries and other health problems that effect on-the-job productivity.
“We are pleased to welcome Adventist Health to the Hillsboro area health care community,” said Tuality President and CEO Dick Stenson. “Occupational Medicine is an important piece of the health care puzzle and we are glad they are here.”
Adventist Health JobCare-Hillsboro, under the direction of Dr. Curtis S. Thiessen, is focused on pre-employment physicals, drug screenings and treating injured workers to get them back to work promptly and safely.
“JobCare-Hillsboro provides quality and convenient access to business-related health care for businesses located west of Portland,” said Tom Russell, President and CEO of Adventist Medical Center. “We are honored to help businesses stay healthy by helping their workers stay healthy while focusing on a mission of whole person care.
Russell acknowledges that companies in the Hillsboro area have reached out to Adventist Health to assist with creating healthy work environments. The JobCare clinic also deals with workers compensation and return-to-work processes.
