Breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women, and the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Mammograms save lives. Many women lack access to themespecially those in Oregon’s northwestern coastal communities. Transportation, financial, and other challenges can make it difficult to get mammograms.
The campaign has three important goals:
Chances are you know a woman whose life was changed forever by breast cancer. When you join On the Road to Prevention, you’re helping bring mammograms and cancer support to underserved women in communities from Washington County to the coast. You can be a life-saver for the most vulnerable women in our communities.
